These cross-lock tweezers open to an area of 1.25", and close down on a ring or a bead that you need to work on. As soon as you release the fiber grips, the tweezers close. To open them, just squeeze the handles. The tip of the tweezer forms a round shape. The bottom end of the tweezer is flat, so you can insert it into a table vice (not included) for a better hands-free angle.
